An outlook on sports this week

The week of Sept. 23-29 is packed full with sporting events

This week is full of Fall Sports. This week there is a variety of sporting events, including two senior nights.

Tuesday, September 24 there was a middle school and high school cross country dual meet at Union City High School. Middle school ran first, then high school ran directly after. Girls volleyball also faced the Bears at Union City. There was also a girls middle school basketball game at James S. Wilson Middle School. 

Wednesday, September 25, there is a middle school football game against North Western at home, it starts at 4:30. There is also girls soccer game at North East; Varsity will play at 5:30 and JV will follow at 7 p.m. There is a home volleyball game against Clarion; JV will start at 6 p.m. and Varsity will follow. This will be a volleyball game you will not want to miss as Clarion is #1-A and Corry is #1-AA. 

Thursday, September 26, there is a middle school basketball game at home against North Western at 4 o’clock. The Varsity Golf team will face Union City at home at 4 p.m. There are two senior nights that will take place on Thursday night, the boys soccer team will play Saegertown at six, and the Volleyball team will face Seneca. JV will play at six and senior night and Varsity will begin soon after. 

Friday, September 27, the Varsity football team will be at Mercyhurst, and the game will begin at 7 pm. 

Saturday, September 28, the JV football team will play Mercyhurst at home at 10 a.m. The girls varsity soccer team will play Erie High at Erie High at 10 a.m. The boys soccer team will be hosting Franklin at 1:30. 

This is a long week full of sports, so make sure to come support our athletes this week.
