On Wednesday, September 18, the Beavers welcomed the Lady Ramblers into our home gym. The Beavers were able to beat the Ramblers after four sets. The scores of the sets were: 25-18 Corry, 29-27 Corry, 26-24 Prep,  and the final set, 25-20.

The Lady Beavers started off strong, and slightly lost it for just a minute there in the third set, before quickly regaining it during the fourth set, whivh led them to taking the win over the Ramblers.

Throughout the game Corry’s defense was very strong. There were times where they got down, and the energy overall was not as high as what it was in the first two sets, but after Prep beat us in the third set we quickly fought back and were able to pull off the win.

Aubrey Chase was named Deej Experience LLC’s “Player Of The Game.” Chase had five aces, along with multiple digs and kills. Makenna Moore and Grace Allen both had amazing games as well: Moore with thirty digs and six aces on the night, and Allen with seventeen kills, which is a new career high for her.

Senior Labero, Makenna Moore says that “It was one of our best games so far, everyone did their job and worked hard.”

The Lady Beavers are currently  ranked #1 in the  State AA, with a record of 4-1.
