I love what holidays come around every year and I look forward to each day. To feel the warm breeze but also to look at the beautiful snow glisten. You become more connected to everyone around you, and that may as well boost your energy to get up for the day. Lastly, of course, it is tradition and I would have to say I love my family traditions all year long on special days.
Holiday 10: Halloween
The reason being is because I hate being scared of anything that involves jump scares, clowns, bugs, curses, mazes, haunted houses, etc.. I don’t like this holiday at all. The only thing is dressing up with my sister with matching outfits and passing candy out, but that is it.
Holiday 9: St. Patrick’s day
I put this here because it is just a day full of tricks and a pot of gold. I mean there isn’t much to say about this holiday except if it is going to give me luck.
Holiday 8: Valentine’s Day
I chose this as a solid eight because it is show your love day and get someone chocolate and flowers. But why give your partner, who you love dearly, chocolate and flowers on one day and celebrate them on just the holiday when you can cherish them every day you have with them?
Holiday 7: Easter
I chose this holiday to be the seventh because painting the eggs is fun, finding the Easter basket and having dinner is very special to me, but that is pretty much it.
Holiday 6: New Year’s
I put this for sixth because I like going to Sparty and enjoying the bonfire, hot cocoa, fireworks, and saying Happy New Year to my family and friends and wishing for them to have a great fresh start into a new year.
Holiday 5: Mother’s Day
This is a small holiday on a single day, but I truly love it. I think this should last a whole week in my opinion. This is when I get to give my mother presents and write a note telling her about how much it means to me to have her as my mom and going out to dinner with her to celebrate her for doing such a great job.
Holiday 4: 4th of July
I chose this holiday to be fourth because it rhymes with it. Just joking. I like watching fireworks and using sparklers with my family and eating the basic food like burgers and hot dogs. I just enjoy it and getting to wear red, white, and blue. I also like that we can celebrate those who fought for our independence.
Holiday 3: Birthdays
This is not really a holiday, but is a holiday to me. It is a day I get to spend with my twin sister and have cake and see each other grow every year and see how much we have both changed. I love having this day because it is also a day for me to get older and more mature.
Holiday 2: Thanksgiving
I chose this as the second best holiday because it is a day to spread kindness and thanks towards your loved ones. Throughout the years I think saying grace is one tradition my family has and will have for years to come. This holiday is so fun you get to go shoot a turkey, get pumpkins, eat the best pumpkin pie ever, and lastly enjoy eating the best meal year long with your special ones.
Holiday 1: Christmas
I chose this as the first most important holiday because this is time to celebrate and have good melodies to sing along with while drinking hot cocoa. Also, when it is time to wake up out of bed and see a whole bunch of gifts received by your loved ones is always so nice. I love to make people happy on Christmas day because you really connect and have fun. After all, singing and drinking hot cocoa is the time to play in the snow, go sledding, go skiing, make snow angels, etc. This holiday is filled with excitement and joy and it leads me to say this is the best holiday of all time. Santa would agree with me as well.
