Introducing Corry's 2024 Homecoming Court

Every year there are twelve students chosen by their classmates to be nominated for the Homecoming Court. On September 20, a boy and girl of the Senior Class will be crowned Homecoming King and Queen at halftime, during the Homecoming football game. The actual Homecoming dance is on September 21 and the parade is two days before, on September 19. This year’s Homecoming Court is listed below:

Luke Hurd: Luke is a part of the varsity track and field team as well as many theater productions, both in and out of school. When asked, he says he is most excited to ride in the parade.

Mallory Dahlgren: Mallory is one of the captains for the girls varsity soccer team, and is a thrower on the varsity track and field team. She is also a part of both the National Honors Society and Technical Honors Society, and an active member of Skills USA. Dahlgren says she is most excited for the coronation.

Emmalee is most excited to spend this time with her friends, getting ready together, being able to experience this together and just have fun.

Porter Kafferlin: Porter is on the varsity football team and he works for the City of Corry. When I asked Porter what he was the most excited for, he said the football game and seeing who wins king and queen.

Aubrey Chase: Aubrey is on the varsity volleyball team and the unified track team. Aubrey has recently started to be a part of the student council and hopes to become a more active member throughout the school year. Aubrey says she is most excited about the parade and being able to wear her favorite prom dress again.

All high school students will be able to vote for who they want to win king and queen closer to the dance.  I would like to thank everyone that is on court for answering my questions and wish them all luck as voting will be starting very soon.
