What is your biggest accomplishment from the school year?

Every year there are ups and downs with students and teachers. The year can feel like forever or go by very quickly, but no matter how slow or fast it feels we all accomplish things that we won’t forget. Inside or outside of the school year everyone has accomplished something that they are proud of.  We asked 50 students what their greatest accomplishment from their 2023-2024 school year was, and here are the results:

Teddy Mickel – Soon-to-be diploma

Fabian Fourspring – Passing high school

Luke Hurd – Going to regions for choir

Ryan Webb – Being on National Honors Society

Ava West – Getting a 100% on a “DePaul” test

Mr. Fourspring – Surviving

McKenna Williams – Passing Algebra 1

Grady Mosher – “My friendship with Arthur”

Mr. Krasa – Losing 45 .lbs

Grant Adams – Started rap career (lil white chocolate) on sound cloud

Mr. Buona – Teaching sixth grade for the first year and nobody died

Mr. Brady – Riding the Black Widow at Kennywood and not puking

Isabella O'Connor is a 9th grade student and athlete. This is her first year with the Beaver Tales newspaper. Outside of school she enjoys hunting, fishing, reading, and riding.

Arthur Cassidy, Reporter
Arthur Cassidy is a freshman in high school who elected to take the newspaper class. He is a student athlete with his main sport being basketball. However, when he is not playing basketball or sitting through school he tends to like hanging out with his friends, playing video games, or eating.
