Amy Albers is a sixth grade science teacher for Corry Middle-High School. She was born August 5, 1978, and grew up in Corry. She played two sport,s which were track and cheerleading.

After her days at Corry, she attended the University of Pittsburgh. When asked why she became a teacher, Mrs. Albers said, “Students get excited when they learn new things. I liked seeing excited students.”
If Mrs. Albers could travel anywhere she would choose to travel to Alaska. Her favorite movie is “Entrapment,” and her favorite color is baby blue.
Her upcoming plans for vacations include camping and traveling to Virginia Beach. Her favorite food is spaghetti. Her idea of a dream vacation again consisted of Alaska and camping, but also included sight seeing. Mrs. Albers biggest pet peeve is when people chomp on their gum.
Last but not least, her advice to readers is “Always take time to read a good book.”
