On Friday, May 3, Corry High School is hosting their annual “Decision Day” where seniors are recognized for their future plans. During this assembly, grades nine-11 are invited to watch and celebrate their upperclassmen along with parents and family members. Although most seniors are going to be announcing the college that they are attending, seniors who are committing themselves to working a full-time job or the military are also able to showcase their plans to the student body.
With this event right around the corner, Mrs. Audet is asking that seniors email her with verification of their future plans. Whether it is an email that you can forward to her showing proof of acceptance or proof that you signed up for the military, Mrs. Audet needs some confirmation of your plans. So far she has about 65 seniors verified, but she is looking to get at least 20-30 more students. All seniors are encouraged to participate, but if you are unsure about your plans, you do not have to.
If you have not verified your plans with Mrs. Audet yet, you can email her at [email protected]. Decision Day is a new event that started taking place last year, so it is important for seniors to show their interest to keep this tradition going. If you are interested in having your parents attend, the school sent a letter to parents in the mail last week that gives more information surrounding that. Hopefully by the end of the week, more seniors will be verified so that they can partake in this event next week.
