DeAnn VanTassel is a custodian for our Corry Area Middle-High School. She was born in Corry, PA and is 64 years old. She grew up in Corry and attended school all 12 years in Corry School District. Her hobbies consist of working (being a custodian here at the school) and playing bingo. She has three siblings and she said that she loves and enjoys having all of them.
When asked what her favorite place she has traveled to was she said, “I loved Maine.” She doesn’t have a favorite quote, however, she loves to read. She has no upcoming vacation plans as of right now. VanTassel also loves cleaning, she does not have a favorite song, but she said she loves listening to music. Growing up she never really got into sports, so she never played any.
When asked what her dream vacation would be she said “My dream vacation would be somewhere warm. Also somewhere quiet. Somewhere like a warm beach.”
When asked what her dream date scenario would be she said, “Go out to a restaurant and have fun. Just go out and have fun.”
VanTassel’s biggest pet peeve is when people chew and talk with their mouth open. “I hate that. I think it’s disgusting.”
Last but not least, when asked what her advice to her readers would be she said, “Life goes by fast. Life is way too short. So go after things and take risks.”
