On February 4, 8:00 p.m., Trevor Noah hosted the 2024 Grammy Awards. A myriad of artists won various awards. 

At the event, Taylor swift won Album of the Year for her album “Midnights.” This album had 549.26 million streams. “Midnights” used to hold the most streamed Album on Spotify a day until 1989 (Taylor’s Version) took the record. 

Taylor Swift’s album “Midnights” also won the “best pop vocal album.” As she was winning her awards, she announced a new album she is releasing called “The Tortured Poets Department,” this album will be released on April 19, 2024.

Miley Cyrus’ song named “Flowers” won Record of the year, this song was released in 2023 and has over 1.16 billion listeners. 

The best pop duo/group award went to SZA ft. Phoebe Bridgers for the song “Ghost in the Machine.” This song has over 2,229,936 listeners. 

Song of the Year went to “What was I made for” that was used in the film “Barbie” and sung and written by Billie Eilish. This song was listened to 5,970,077 times.
