Country singer Toby Keith sadly passed away at the age of 62 on February 5, 2024. He passed away due to stomach cancer, but was surrounded by his loving family.
His cancer was diagnosed in the fall of 2021. He went through many rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, and surgeries. He put up a fight but unfortunately cancer won.
He was most known for his popular country songs released in the ’90s and early 2000s. Most recognizable being “Red Solo Cup,” “Should’ve Been a Cowboy,” and “I Wanna Talk About Me.” He is a seven-time Grammy winner, and won 27 awards at the Country Music Awards. He even performed a hit song this past September at the CMA awards.
