Music is the perfect way to de-stress, and let go. It’s even better when you can find lyrics that you can relate to, or that are fun to sing. Let’s go through my top 10 favorite lyrics.

10. “I used to think love would be (black and white) but it’s (golden)”-“Daylight” by Taylor Swift

This lyric is so cute and thought out. I love Taylor Swift and a lot of her lyrics but there are plenty of better lyrics out there.

9. “You’re a cowboy like me”-“Cowboy Like Me” by Taylor Swift

This is from one of my favorite songs on the “Evermore” album. I used to listen to this song a lot in the summer, so it has a lot of positive memories attached to it.

8. “Know it’s for the better X36”-“Waiting Room” by Phoebe Bridgers

There is just something about lyrics that repeat that makes me love them so much more. This is one of those cases where it has more meaning to it as it repeats.

7. “Look at us, you and I back at it again”-“Let The Light In” by Lana Del Rey

This was another song I was obsessed with and every time this lyric came on I fell back in love with the whole song all over again.

Once again, I love repeating lyrics and this song just hits home.

This is my favorite lyric from this song. I have a special connection to this song because I danced solo to it and it helped me rekindle my love for dance.

4. “Ooh, stop.”-“Where Is My Mind?” by Pixies

It is such a small part of the song but it makes for such a perfect intro to the song. I like it because it just helps it to differ from the usual song.

3. “…I’ve got the magic in me”-“Trebles Finals: Bright Lights Bigger City/Magic” by the Treblemakers

This is the absolute best moment of the whole “Pitch Perfect” movie. Every time I hear it, I get so excited inside and listening to it feels like magic.

2. “And you wanna scream/Don’t call me ‘kid’/Don’t call me ‘baby’ look at this Godforsaken mess that you made me”-“Illicit Affairs” by Taylor Swift

Experiencing this at the “Eras Tour” was an out of body experience. It was definitely one of my favorite parts of the whole concert.

1. “You turn me inside out and then you want me outside in/You spin me all around and then you ask me not to spin”-“Vampire Empire” by Big Thief

This part of the song is my favorite ever. I love everything about the song but especially this lyric. I will always enjoy hearing and singing it.
