Corry boys middle school basketball has been doing very well in the season so far. I believe that middle school sports deserve as much attention as high school, therefore, I pulled some of the eighth grade players from study hall and asked them what their thoughts are on the season so far. Here are the responses:
Point guard Deion Canady said, “It is going very good.”
Small Forward Jackson Lathropaq said, “I believe it is going well.”
Center Gage Frey said, “I’ve been very proud.”
Forward Ryan Knapp said, “It’s amazing.”
Caleb Johnson who is a Power Forward said, “We’re doing very well.”
“It has been great,” small forward Connor Sterling said.
Center Grady Mosher said “Were the best team in PA.”
Colton Woods who plays Power forward said “I’m proud of my team.”
Shooting guard Westin Atha said “We started off strong.”
Cole Halfast who plays Shooting guard said “It is going very well, we are 3-1, we have improved a lot from last year.”
“We’re doing good,” said Power Forward Wesly Cassidy.
Lastly, I asked Mr. Tucci, who is one of the coaches. When I asked the same question, he said “We continue to improve, the season’s a marathon not a sprint.”
