On Friday December 8, Corry High School’s National Honors Society took a trip to Corry’s Primary School with a very important task. The juniors and seniors had taken on the mission to gain information from the kindergarten students regarding what they had wished for from Santa. The helpers (The High Schoolers) spoke with two students each. Asking questions such as what they want for Christmas, what they do in their spare time, favorite cookies, favorite Christmas movie, and many more!
After gaining all of this information from the kids, the helpers were able to put together some letters to Santa for them. The helpers now have to write letters from Santa in response to the letters they made with the kids. The letters will be sent to the kids homes so that way they can open them and see what Santa has in store for them this Christmas.
In some of the classes when the interviews were done the helpers and students were able to dance together, or even color and read stories together. There are so many different personalities in the kids, so their present requests were all unique. Though, surprisingly for a group of five-year-olds, the most requested presents were anything electronic.
