Corry Area School District graciously welcomes new teacher, Lexi Vallimont. She was born December 16, 1993. She was raised with one sister. Vallimont grew up just outside of Erie in Greene Township, PA.
When asked what inspired her to take this career path as a teacher, she responded, “I’ve always wanted to since I was a little girl.” Vallimont attended college at Gannon and Edinboro.
In her free time she admitted that she was a bookworm, and really enjoys reading. She also likes spending time with her friends and family when she is not stuck in a good book. Another hobby of Vallimont’s is travelling. Her dream vacation is to Alaska, which she will be going to soon in the future.
Vallimont’s favorite food is Mexican, which is an agreeably great choice with plenty of variety and endless choices. When asked what animal resonates with her personality the most she said a cat, because they are independent and enjoy the past time by themselves sleeping.
A piece of advice she would like to leave with the audience is, “If you can choose anything, choose kindness.”
