The NBA’s superteam problem

The+NBAs+superteam+problem

The NBA has developed a big problem in the last few years. This problem is an imbalance in superstars on teams, and how many teams in each conference have these superstars.

With six superteams (a team with more than one superstar) in the West and three in the East. In the West there are the Lakers, Clippers, Nuggets, Mavericks, Suns and Warriors, and in the East there are the Celtics, Heat and Bucks.

On paper, this imbalance of superteams could lead to a more dominant West Conference. With most of the East rebuilding their teams, this could lead to similar teams in the finals every year, which could get boring for fans around the world.

This has already happened before from 2014-2018 the Warriors and Cavaliers finals run, which fans thought would never end leading to memes being made about the series.

In the past this problem has resolved itself, and I believe that it will again. If it doesn’t then the NBA will need to find a resolution to the problem, and if they don’t viewership will go down.
