Ted H. Mickel VI was born on February 12, 2006. He grew up in Erie, but now lives in Corry and attends Corry Area High School. Outside of school, some of Ted’s hobbies include playing “NBA 2K24,” walking his pitbull and playing basketball at the local YMCA. Mickel has seven siblings, two of which biological (20, 14), three step siblings(19, 17, 14), and two half siblings (22, 21).
Teddy plans on going to Mercyhurst University to study exercise physiology for six years. According to Mickel, he is going into this field because “he is very interested in it and it is fun.” When asked where he wants to travel, Ted stated, “Africa because I want to reunite with my ancestors, and learn to hunt tigers like Tarzan.” As for upcoming vacation days, he plans on visiting the Bahamas, but he also wants to travel to Germany to study the Holocaust.
At first glance one might assume Ted plays basketball due to his height and athletic build, that is because he does. Teddy has a strong passion for the sport, playing on his high school team. On the weekends you can find him at the YMCA playing pick up. He compares his basketball skill to an Ocelot cat because he isĀ “too shifty” and “you can’t guard” him.
Another thing that Teddy enjoys is music, stating his favorite song is “Snow on the Bluff” by the modern Aristotle, J. Cole. Furthermore, some of Ted’s favorite things include his dog, spaghetti and Kool-Aid, which you can see every day in his shaker cup. He told me that his dream date is watching movies at home.
In conclusion, Teddy is an interesting person and a very good friend. One quote that inspires Teddy is from the famous Fortnite player, Nick Eh 30, in which he states “Never back down, never give up.” When asked what his biggest pet peeve, he stated that people lying to his face makes him mad. Mickel would like to leave his readers with the saying, “Always try your best, go 100%.”
