Honors choir and band students prepare for Disney World

Emma Minnick, Editor in Chief

This year, students in Honors Choir and Band have the opportunity to go on a school trip to Disney World in Florida. During the trip, students will participate in a Disney workshop with the park’s actors, where they will learn techniques for singing and performing.

The students will depart in the early hours of March 16th, and are expected to land in Orlando around 8am on March 17th. The students will be accompanied by teachers Ms. Smrcka and Mr. McCray, along with other teacher and parent chaperones.

On the trip, students will have the opportunity to visit Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and other Disney attractions. They can ride the roller coasters and watch the shows as part of their trip. The students are allowed to have free reign throughout the park within groups of at least four. Regular check-ins with chaperones will ensure that the schedule goes smoothly, and every student stays safe and accounted for.

The students are expected to return later in the day on March 21st. Good luck and have a safe trip, everyone!
