Corry Esports holds first Apex Legends tournament

Jacob White, Reporter

Corry Esports is an amazing way to show off your gaming skills alongside your friends. There are a variety of games that you can play, and there are tournaments held for those who like to play those specific games.

Speaking of tournaments, the Corry Esports group is hosting an Apex Legends tournament today after school at 4:00 p.m. There will be thirty players divided into ten teams of three. Apex Legends is a battle royale game that consists of taking all the other players out while dealing with a closing ring or storm that takes away health the longer you are in it.

There will be an update on the results next week to show the ranks in which everyone placed. If anyone is interested in future tournaments, any of the games we play, or simply coming to meet after school with us every other Monday to play games, you are more than welcome to join. For more information please contact Mr. McGinnity ([email protected]) or Mr.McBriar ([email protected]).
