On February 21, The USYNT (United States Youth National Team) defeated Guatemala to head to the semi-finals of the CONCACAF (The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football) Championship, and they also clinched their spot in the 2023 U-17 World Cup. This also means that they have qualified for the World Cup 18 times, something no other team has accomplished.

The game took place at Estadio Nacional Doroeto Guamuch Flores with an astounding 11,275 people in the crowd.  The starting XI for the U.S. included  Striker- B. Carmona Romero, Midfielder- P. Soma, and Goalkeeper- D. Ferree. With the five goals coming from B. Carmona Romero, two from K. Figueroa Norales, A. Harangi, and T. Habroune.
