On Monday, February 20, it was the girls basketball senior night. They celebrated their one and only senior Tayler Elchynski, who is a point guard. Tayler has been playing basketball for 10 years, she started in 3rd grade, and never stopped.

Their game was against the Titusville Rockets, and the score ended up being 44-26. Senior night started at seven, and the game started after all the festivities. Tayler was announced and walked down the court with her mother and father by her side as the announcers stated Tayler’s favorite memories from basketball, what she will be doing in her future, and some advice she gives to younger players.

When Elchynski was asked how she feels about her high school basketball career being over she said, “I’m sad that I’m leaving, but excited for my future endeavors.”

Also when asked what her favorite thing about basketball is she answered, “My favorite thing about basketball is getting to play with my friends.”
