The 2023 Super Bowl Halftime show was performed by Rihanna. This was a very anticipated performance, and so many people were excited to finally see Rihanna make a comeback. She took a few year break from creating music, so it was exciting for her to have her own concert show again.

Rihanna opened up the halftime show with one of her hit songs “Better Have My Money.” She never sang any song completely through, it was more of mashups and a couple clips from a few different songs. Songs included “Where Have You Been,” “Only Girl In The World,” “We Found Love,” “Rude Boy,” “Work,” “Wild Thoughts,” “Pour It Up,” “All Of The Lights,” “Run This Town,” “Umbrella,” and ended it with singing “Diamonds,” which lasted the longest.

While singing all of these, she was surrounded by dancers all dressed in white. They danced synchronized all around her and at times she danced with them. During some parts of the show she was standing on a platform that would rise up all the way to the top of the stadium and back down again. She was joined by her dancers on their own separate platforms on both sides of her.

Like every halftime performance, it was controversial. Just minutes into the show, there were people expressing all different kinds of opinions on the internet. Some people thought it was boring and underwhelming, some thought she didn’t sing enough, while some absolutely loved it and thought it was great.

The craziest part of the Super Bowl show was Rhianna being pregnant. People were immediately tweeting and posting about Rhianna’s body. People were speculating that her little belly was just a part of her postpartum body. Even though she did end up being pregnant, it was still wrong for everyone to instantly start judging and wondering about her body.
