On Wednesday, January 25, the Corry High wrestlers competed in their last regional match and they ended it with an undefeated record of 6-0. They competed against the Seneca Bobcats with a 72-6 victory. There weren’t many matches last night due to Seneca only having five wrestles, and only four competed.

Owen Nickerson wrestled in the heavy-weight winning his match. Lewis Hellyer competed in the 145 weight class also taking the win. Will Allen in the 133 weight class and won his match. The last wrestler was Isaiah Bayle wrestled in the 127 weight class and he also won. Corry forfeited one match and it was 189 weight.

The wrestlers will now move onto the District 10 tournament and if they place in the top two they will make their way to states. That match would take place on February 17 and February 18 at Meadville High School. It will start at 3:45 p.m. on Friday and end on Saturday at 10 a.m.
