Tips on being a good student

Rubie Gibson, Reporter

The Corry Area School District deserves so much respect, but the students aren’t always the nicest. The Corry Area School District needs to figure out ways to improve respect.

I have some tips for each and every one of you to make you strong, capable and intelligent. I know Some students have trouble listening or following the rules, but I have faith in each and every one of you.

Here is some advice that some of you might need. If you do something wrong, own up to it. Don’t try and get someone else in trouble for your actions. You all know what is a good choice and what is a bad choice; choose to do the right thing. Being mean and rude gets you nowhere in life. I’m sure you all want people to look at you and say how smart and respectful you all are!

I make bad choices myself, but I’m working on doing the right things so I can get somewhere in life. In my opinion, our students are capable of making so many good choices, just have confidence.

I hope each and everyone of you use this quote and hope for the best: “Your success will be determined by your own confidence and fortitude.”

Stay safe and I hope you all have a good holiday!
